Separate from our quality control functions we also have a distinctive quality assurance function in place at Gaia Herbs and Professional Solutions. Headed up by Jim Grant, MS, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Manager, we audit all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) using FDA-driven GMP controls. Every department manager as well as our Quality Control laboratory is held accountable to operate within the guidelines of SOP’s established for their division. Other aspects of our operation governed by quality assurance include regulatory compliance with structure/function claims, product information literature, product names, customer complaint response, adverse event reporting, product label warnings, and all OSHA, ATF, FDA, FTC, and USDA governing regulations.
