At harvest time, we collect plant specimens and have the samples tested at our analytical labs for bio-activity. We will do this with each crop during a 4-week period weekly to determine the crop’s bio-activity curve. We then can harvest the crops at their optimal bio-activity. Having utilized this practice now for several years, we are harvesting crops with much higher bio-activities than otherwise would be expected.

Our Hawthorn leaf and flower, for example, delivers 4-5 times more oligomeric procyanidins than material obtained from other organic suppliers. Our Valerian root delivers 4-10 times more valerenic acids activity than other organic suppliers. Our Echinacea angustifolia and purpurea deliver 2-5 times more activity than other supplies.
