Gaia Farm Organic Certification
Oregon Tilth (www.tilth.org), known internationally for its strict organic certification standards, re-certifies both our farm and our processing facility each year. OTCO inspectors evaluate every aspect of our land and production. The inspection includes investigations into organic seed sourcing, cover cropping practices, crop rotation, soil fertility programs, pest control programs, machinery maintenance, greenhouse practices, neighboring land uses, crop washing practices, water use, and administrative practices such as documentation of the above, segregation of organic herbs from wild-sourced and foreign cultivated herbs, and documentation of the use and destinations of crops.

Our farm is in its 9th continuous year as an OTCO Certified Organic Grower.

Organic Processor Certification
Our 36,000 sq. ft. processing facility, which lies immediately adjacent to our farm, is in its 4th year as an OTCO Certified Organic Processor. This means that all herbal manufacturing and packaging processes are performed using only non-toxic, bio-degradable, food grade substances. Organic Processor certification assures that no harmful trace chemicals will come into contact with any Gaia Herbs or Professional Solutions products.
