Gaia Herb Farm Supplies Nearly 70% of the Bio-Mass of the Herbs We Produce
The Gaia Herb Farm supplies nearly 30% of the products that Gaia Herbs and Professional Solutions produce and its annual yield accounts for nearly 70% of the product sales that we generate. Each year our farm is re-certified by Oregon Tilth as an organic operation.

Certified Organic and Ecologically Wildcrafted Herbs
Jackie Greenfield, MS, Botanical Division Manager, purchases herb from other certified organic growers as well as the very finest and ecologically sensitive wild crafters. Indigenous growers and wild crafters are chosen by Jackie from around the world in remote places such as Vanuatu for our Kava Kava, Manchuria in Northern China for our Schizandra Berry, Ligustrum Berry, Eleuthero Root, and Licorice Root, the Himalayan mountain regions of northern India for our Holy Basil and Green Tea, and the Jamaican bush for our Sarsaparillia, Jamaican Dogwood, and Blue Ring Ginger. Prior to every raw material procurement round we first obtain samples from approved growers and wild crafters. Samples are analyzed and validated for identity, purity, and strength through both organoleptic and quantitative HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) methods.

In-House Validation of Quality Raw Materials
Only raw materials that meet or exceed our threshold activity requirements are then purchased. Once the procured material arrives at our facility, the herbs are quarantined until our quality assurance and quality control teams re-validate the product for identity, purity, and strength.
